What is a Filing and Organizing with Friends Speciality Workshop?

Filing is one of the most challenging areas to organize for you home or business. It takes time and focus to tackle it. Our workshop gives you an affordable learning and co-working option...with Education, Time, and Focus. Our Specialty Paper Organizing Workshop is designed to give you 2 hours of focused time to organize your specific categories of paper in the comfort of your home. Use this time to focus on your home/business financial papers in community with others. We will utilize a Zoom format workshop setting. 

What is included?

•HIPAA certified, Paper Solutions®, Retreat Trained, Certified Organizer and Professional Affiliate with Organize 365® help you with your paper projects and files 

•Our organizer is a  professional member of NAPO with specialist certificates in Team Productivity, Workplace Productivity, Residential Organizing, and Household Management; Peaceful Paper is a  Golden Circle Member of NAPO.

•Our organizer is also a Certified Virtual Professional Organizer and professional member through the Institute of Challenging Disorganization (ICD). If you are challenged with organization, have a neurodiverse way of thinking and planning, we can work with you!

•20 minutes of instruction, 10 minutes Q&A and 90 minutes of HANDS ON virtual co-working time with opportunity to get your questions answered. You can use the time to set up, maintain, or work on permanent and reference papers in your binders or files. We rotate categories monthly - check for topics below.

•Time to DIG OUT from under piles and bulk paper or to MAINTAIN your current reference and archive systems.

•Time to GET YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED about your specific paper organization and documentation retention needs

•Awesome community to MOTIVATE and UPLIFT you while you work through your paper

•We have facilitated 65 Specialty Reference paper workshops and helped many people, just like you, work through their papers... Peace starts with a plan.™

What to have ready at home?

•Dedicated work space to spread out  (kitchen or dining room table, card or folding table, etc.

•Boxes, bins, and bags filled with your papers (Your papers can include: filing cabinet files, mail, bills to pay,  flyers, invitations, calendars, schedules, to-do lists, receipts, coupons, kids' papers, schedules, and  business items)

•Daily mail and papers for the week (or month if needed)

•Bags or boxes for trash and recycle

•Bags to hold items to shred

•Sorting trays 

•Pens, highlighter, stapler, paper or binder clips

•Binders or file folders for your reference papers; slash pockets and page protectors

•NOKBOX®  and other filing systems welcome

•Printables (emailed in advance)
